Home Sharing is unrelated to the iCloud services, although often the same Apple ID account is used.

  1. Settings﹥Computers﹥Turn On Home Sharing.
  2. Enter your Apple ID and password. Make sure to use the same Apple ID that you used when you set up Home Sharing in iTunes on the Mac or PC (or System Preferences﹥Sharing﹥☑︎ Media Sharing﹥☑︎ Home Sharing﹥ on macOS Catalina or later).
  3. Access your Home Shared content through the Computers app.
