My itunes is evidently "linked" to my old apple id. None of my apple tv 3s will allow me to home share since it won't recognize my new apple id--i have factory reset the apple tvs and turned off home sharing on my mac/itunes, restarted the mac, turned on home sharing again, and same result.

I would contact Apple Support. There seem to be a number of users reporting difficulty enabling Home Sharing on Apple TV 3.

Thanks.....I did, no fix yet....have to wait until the next software update.....
apple tv will not recognize my apple id
