iCloud subscription

Hi, i want to ask about my iCloud subscription, i already purchased my iCloud storage for 50gb, and recently I received an email said that i not have enough iCloud storage, and when I check my history billing it said the last bill was on May 2021. Why?

Make sure there isn't a problem with your payment method that meant your subscription isn't being paid.
