Photos app won't upload photos, saying there's 'Not Enough iCloud Storage', yet there is...

Hi,

The Photos app wouldn't upload my photos due to a supposed insufficient iCloud storage, so I upgraded to the 50GB plan. I now have 47.5GB of free storage on iCloud, yet the Photos app still shows the same error:

'Restore from iCloud Paused. Not enough iCloud Storage.'

Restarting my iPhone didn't help.

Any advice?

Thanks.

Hi YonathanzZz,

Welcome to the Apple Community, where some of sys do our best to help each other :)

Wondering if you have checked just how many Gb of photos you are trying to upload.

iCloud Photos always uploads and stores your original, full-resolution photos.

There are links in the Apple support article below that can help with checking, if you need to:

Transfer photos and videos from your iPhone

Also:

iCloud have a support web-page:

https://support.apple.com/icloud

And there is a useful iCloud User Guide:

(Click on Table of Contents to view articles)

Hope this helps you :)

Hope there is something here to help you :)
