Search Bar in Apple Music Is Not Working

Suddenly, the search bar in Apple Music is not working. I search for a song or arist and a blank screen shows.

I have already tried quitting and restarting Apple Music, restarting my ios device, making sure that sync is turned on in preferences, making sure that my subscription is up to date, and making sure that the software is up to date.

None of this works to solve the problem.

In iTunes, and for music I've already downloaded or added to my Apple Music library before, the search bar works normally. However I cannot find anything that isn't already in my library in Apple Music because the search bar suddenly does not work inn Apple Music.

Clearly this appears to be a server problem.

If not, then how do I fix it?

If so, then when may I expect a refund for the duration of this malfunction?

Good day to you VampiraTransylvania,

We understand you to say that when attempting to search the iTunes Store/Apple Music catalog using search terms, you’re not able to, however you are able to search for music already in your library.

Do you find that when you click on tabs in the side bar such as Listen Now, Browse, iTunes Store that the content loads prior to you using the search function to find something specific? If not, are you also encountering blank screens there or is there any type of error message? We ask this to learn more about whether the app is having an overall connection issue.

Thanks.
