Customize Sidecar Touch Bar

Hi there!

I currently have a M1 MacBook Air and an iPad Pro 10.5 (2017) and use them together with sidecar.

I noticed there is a touch bar just like the MacBook Pro's on the iPad when using sidecar, but I can't customize it, it can only ever show the default icons for the open application. Not even the control strip shows.

I was wondering if I could customize the control strip even though I'm on a MacBook Air (that clearly has no touch bar on it's own). When I go to the settings part that controls the touch bar, I can try to drag the touch bar icons to the iPad, but it won't go into where the touch bar is, and if I try to drag it down to where the Pro's touch bar would be, nothing happens and my mouse pointer gets dragged into it until I close the configuration.

lfmundim,

We understand you men the Touch Bar that is shown at the bottom of iPad when using Sidecar. The apps available in the Touch Bar vary. Have you ever been able to use this feature? Make sure both devices are running the latest software. Restart both, if you have not.

Check Sidecar preferences on your Mac. Use iPad as a second display for your Mac can assist with adjusting the preferences.

Regards.
