Purchased Songs on iTunes - Not showing in iPod

I purchased some songs in iTunes from my iPhone. Showed as downloaded succesful, but the songs are not showing up in the iPod on the phone. Not sure where the songs could have dissapeared to. Has anyone else had this problem?

3GS, iOS 4

No offense, but your last post (your first post) wasn't as helpful as the one above this one. The fix, for me, without syncing to iTunes (away from the computer) was to do what he suggested -- change the language to French, load the iPod app, close the iPod app, then change the language BACK to English. It reset whatever indexing needed to be done on the media on the iPhone and allowed me to access my podcasts.

Bobs4State,

I have the exact same issue. Bought the songs from my Mac. Can find them in the finder. Show up in my Purchased folder as well as the Newly Added Playlist. However, they will not show up in my Library. I have closed the app and rebooted my Mac. No change. Any ideas anyone. No mobile device is involved at this point yet.

Thanks,

Another possible solution...

My Problem:
I recently bought a new PC and used it to update to the latest iPhone software. Somewhere in that process, my iPhone was "emptied" of songs, even though they showed up on the device under iTunes on my PC.

My Fix:
iTunes > iPhone device > Music Library
Click Settings... (bottom right corner). For some reason, my "Reserve space for disk use" was set to zero. After bumping that up enough, my music showed up on the iPhone again. Weird.
