A very narrow Safari browser pops up when I click links in other apps. It is too narrow to be useful, and I cannot make it go away without shutting down the app in which I clicked a link. The user experience of this is awful. Attached is a picture with an example of when this happens.

Settings > Home Screen & Dock > Multitasking > Allow Multiple Apps = “off”.

Note it is not on an Air 3, it happens on an Air 4. But, again, Apple has failed in user experience and there is no choice available for Air 4! Seems the Apple team behind this site is a year behind the actual product lines!!!
A browser window too narrow to use is not a good user experience. It isn't usable at all in the case of this discussions website. I had to manually copy the link from my email app and paste into a manually opened Safari in order to reply.

You’re certainly entitled to your opinion. I respectfully disagree.
I don't want to completely disable multiple apps from sharing the screen. I would prefer a more granular option.
How can I disable the useless narrow column pop-up Safari browser that pops up when I click links in other apps?
