I am trying to delete an app, and I moved it to the trash, but I input "empty trash" into the finder, it opens a file but I can't see anything that says empty trash. There are a couple hundred files in there. Don't want to delete anything important, so ?

What App?

The trash is not a storage receptacle for storing things that you are not sure about.

If you have Iffy Files, then I suggest that you created an Iffy Folder on your Desktop on in your Home Folder to store them in.

To empty the Trash, Control (right) click on the Trash Can and select Empty Trash.
