Airpods pro

Hello i bought some aipods pro and the serial number wont work it says:

“We’re sorry, but this is a serial number for a product that has been replaced. Please check your information and re-enter your serial number”

can anybody help????

My AirPods Pro serial number have already been returned??? My AirPods Pro have a serial number that the support website says have already been returned. Had anyone else had this issue? What can I do to rectify? The AirPods Pros were purchased new and have not been returned before, so I'm not sure what would cause this??
