F12 no longer controls my volume, I get programming language, how do I get the function of volume back?
Volume button, F12 no longer works- brings up programming language, how do I get access back to volume control.

Is the preference highlighted below checked?
If so, uncheck it to stop the Developer tools pane from opening [I am assuming this opens when using Chrome or Firefox]
