Hi there shatouri,

It sounds like you're seeing the Apple logo on your iPhone after error 14 appeared while attempting to update or restore it. We're glad you've joined us in Apple Support Communities, and we can provide some guidance.

Did you try restarting your iPhone with the steps in the link below?

Restart your iPhone

If that didn't seem to help, did you follow the steps in the 'Try to update your device again' section of the related article linked in blue at the top left corner of this page?

Is your iPhone still in recovery mode? Have you checked to be sure iTunes is updated? Learn more from the links below:

If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Update to the latest version of iTunes

Send over these details, and we'll take a closer look to see how we can help.

Cheers.

shatouri,

You're certainly welcome. We're happy to provide some additional assistance.

To continue, it's possible that the issue is related to a lack of available device storage, however, upgrading your iCloud storage plan won't necessarily affect your device storage. Have a look at this link to learn more about the difference between the storage on your iPhone and iCloud storage:

What's the difference between device storage and iCloud storage?

Next, follow the guidance below, and try again after each step:

1. Use the USB cable that came with your device. If you don't have it, try a different Apple USB cable.

2. Switch to a different USB port on your computer. Don't plug into your keyboard.

3. Switch to a USB port on a different computer.

Also, you'll want to be sure you've followed the exact steps in this support article for the error you're seeing:

If you see error 14 when you update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Let us know how it goes.

Cheers.

Thanks for following up with us. Let's continue working together to sort this out.

Next, be sure you're following the correct steps to put your iPhone in recovery mode. Dependent upon which iPhone you have, the steps can vary.

"iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, and iPod touch (7th generation): Press and hold the Top (or Side) and Volume Down buttons at the same time. Keep holding them until you see the recovery mode screen." Have a look at the 'Put your device in recovery mode and set it up again' section of the link we sent previously for more information.

If that doesn't seem to help, which software version is running on your computer and which exact version of iTunes is installed?

Take care.
