updated Parallels software and have made a point to close Parallels after finishing; have not had another incident.

New to Mac OS from Windows; some Linux experience, but cannot locate panic log in Library; have also since updated Mac to Big Sur 11.5, so maybe cleared from memory. If it happens again I will be sure to copy entire log.

Thanks for your help.

Hi slmaynard1,

We see you're having issues with getting a kernel panic, and we'd like to help out.

For assistance with that type of issue, we'd recommend trying all of the suggestions/steps from here: If your Mac restarted because of a problem

Be sure to also check for updates for all software, including virtualization software, antivirus, networking software, as well as anything that shows up in System Preferences > Software Update.

Take care.
