What to do when your mac tells you your smc has a problem

So this started when I was clearing dust out of the back of my mac apparently it didn't appreciate that and the fans started to get loud, I ran diagnosis mode and it told me my smc was failing I reset it and didn't seem to help with the fans it just made my mac a lot more laggy it does have a few bangs and a "minor" crack in the screen which a toddler did. If anyone please knows anything about how to fix the fans and smc please let me know.

You definitely have a hardware issue (maybe issues) with the laptop. Usually if there is an error message saying there is an SMC error it indicate the SMC chip is bad or the supporting circuitry is bad which requires replacement of the entire Logic Board. Whether this is the only issue is hard to say without actually seeing the laptop and the issues first hand.
