iPad Pro 9.7 not charging

Hi,

We have an iPad Pro 9.7 that it’s pristine condition and has been very well cared for. Never had any issues. It was purchased not too long before the 10.5 version came out.

Well, a week or so ago, I plugged it in to charge as we were getting ready to travel. I left it for several hours and wheni can back, was shocked to see it at 7% charged. It was showing the charging icon (lightning icon on the battery) so it appeared to be charging but the battery didn’t charge.

Does anyone have any ideas about this? I tried another adapter and cord and neither worked. Is there any sort of diagnostics test that I can run to confirm what’s going wrong? Can’t be sure if it needs a new battery or charger or something else. Any info or advice would be so helpful. Thank you in advance!
