I recently bought an 12 watt charger so that i can charge my iPhone more quickly than the 5 watt charger. I have an iPhone 7 plus. But when i tested it by charging from 0 to 100%.l, both thee chargers took the same time. Shouldn’t the 12 watt charger supposed to be charging the iPhone faster ?

I am not talking about fast charging. Compared to the 5watt charger, the 12 watt one takes less time on iPhone 7 or 7 plus models. But that is not happening in my case.
Apple 5 watt chareger & 12 watt charger takes the same time to charge my iPhone 7 plus, why?
