How can I skip the free trial and sign up for Apple TV for one year for $50?

Not sure why you would want to skip the trial, but:

One way to do that would be to stop the subscription and resubscribe for 1 year.

If you stop the free trial it ends immediately and you can start the subscription again for 1 year
