I can't download new apps on my iPhone, only old apps

Hello, I can’t seem to be able to download any new apps on my iPhone. Only old apps that I had on my previous phone. I have checked my Apple ID and payment methods and settings and all seems in order. When I hit the ‘Get’ button on the relevant app it just refreshes and comes back with the same ‘Get’ blue symbol.

could anybody please steer me in the right direction on this on? Thank you!
