Apple SuperDrive on Windows 10 PC

I would like to use my Apple SuperDrive as an external disk drive on my Windows 10 PC. After searching, I found an answer suggesting I needed to install the latest (v6) Boot Camp software but it seems this is only available within the MacOS software. Can I download the earlier 5.7 version for Win 7/8? Or any other ideas?

Windows, Windows 10

This link while not V6 worked for me to get drivers for Apple USB Super Drive allowing it to work on Windows on Bootcamp.

Please note also that if you just plug in the drive you must then insert a disc ... do not force it in it will go in by itself once started!! Hope this helps!!
