It depends on the TV. Is your TV a newer Smart TV which is AirPlay 2 capable? If yes, you use AirPlay 2. This link provides more details --Use AirPlay to stream video or mirror the screen of your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
If your TV is a Smart TV, but is not AirPlay 2 capable, see if your TV Manufacturer offers an App in the App Store, which will permit streaming from iPhone to your TV.
If your TV isn't a Smart TV or your TV Manufacturer doesn't offer an App in the App Store, you would buy yourself an HDMI to Lightning cable and connect your phone via cable to the HDMI input on your TV if your TV has an HDMI input. You can buy such a cable directly from Apple or Best Buy or order one from Amazon.
