Upgrade OS Big Sur

Hi, can I upgrade my MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012) with OS Big Sur - system currently running is Sierra 10.12.6 ?

macOS Big Sur 11 is not compatible with MacBook Pro Mid 2012..

macOS Big Sur is compatible with these computers


However other older versions of macOS are available.


1.  Check compatibility

      To confirm compatibility before downloading, check the minimum requirements for

       macOS Catalina, Mojave, High Sierra, Sierra, El Capitan, or Yosemite.

      You can also find compatibility information on the product-ID page for

       MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, MacBook, iMac, Mac mini, or Mac Pro.
