Problem Viewing Order Status

When I checked my order status on both the apple website and apple store I got the Confirmation email that my order was placed. When I check the status of my order I get either the message:


something went wrong or

orders are not available at this time. Please try again later.


Is anyone having the same problem? Does anyone know how I can fix this and be able to see the status of my order.

MacBook Air (2020 or later)

Apparently, yes. A post next to yours reports the same symptoms. We are not Apple but rather end users like you and, if no issues show up on this status page:


Apple - Support - System Status


we unfortunately have no knowledge of the actual problem, no way to fix it, or even whether it is fixed.


You can try phoning Apple if it persists or, as the message suggests, simply try again later.

As it is highly unlikely to be at your end, there is nothing for you to fix.


Based on my observation and ordering experience, Apple commonly does website maintenance in the small hours of Sunday mornings in the US. Maybe that was the issue, as it appears you encountered this around 2-3 AM Cupertino time.
