Inability to Access IPhone 8 due to a forgotten password.

Hello,

Two days ago I reset my phone's password and forgot the password I reset it to a few hours later. In the attempt to regain access to my phone, I have attempted to do the hard reset with no success. When I connect my phone to the laptop and to itunes, my phone does not show up on the app and therefore, I am unable to process with the reset. I would love if there was a way to surpass this.

If you are referring to the passcode to unlock the screen to access the phone, follow the steps in this support document to restore the iPhone and remove the forgotten passcode. If you forgot the passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is disabled - Apple Support
