Lost all my contacts when I deleted my gmail acct in error. Tried doing the backup but can’t find “advanced settings” on my iPhone 12

If your contacts were in your Gmail account, you will need to add that account back to get your contacts back. Add the Gmail account and then turn on the switch for Notes. Check Gmail account on a browser to ensure the notes are still there.
