What do you mean the phone number won't link? When you insert your SIM into the phone and activate it with your carrier, what happens?

Asks me to verify my number and says it sending a code and I tried to have it call with the verification none of that worked
Yes but I took the sim out of it and it wouldn’t send the verification code or text it when I had the sim in so now I just have my sim in my new 12
Probably still hasn’t been solved can I get a direct line for help? I’m missing text messages and phone calls that I can’t affford to miss
