My elderly mother is really having trouble using her iPhone. At this point she doesn't think she can make a phone call. Her phone is fine. I'd like to put my picture and number on her home screen so she can always easily call me (she doesn't "get" the favorites list). Anyone?
If you setup Siri for her, she could say, Hey Siri, call (your name).
If your mother's iPhone is running iOS 14, you can add a Speed Dial shortcut with your name and number. It won't have your picture though.
Open the ShortCuts App, and look for the Speed Dial shortcut in the Gallery tab. Add it to the shortcuts, setup your phone number and save it.
Then from the Today View add a new Widget and select "Shortcuts" from the list, then select the Speed Dial shortcut you just created then drag it out onto a Home Screen.
