Zoom H5 not connecting to Mac Catalina 10.15.7

Hi. I have a Zoom H5 and, until today, have been able to connect to my Mac every time I've connected it. I've changed the USB cable, I've done a factory reset on the Zoom H5 and have not been able to have the microphone recognized by the Mac. Any suggestions?


I dropped the mic off the table while it was connected to the computer (the cable disconnected from the mic) this morning and have not been able to get it to connect since. When I plug the USB cable into the mic from the Mac, it powers up as usual, but it is not recognized by the Mac at all.

iMac 27″, macOS 10.15
