I can't update

I've tried updating to the new macOS big sur and each time it's done loading, it would keep saying "Your update isn't verified". Does anybody knows how to fix this?

First of all does your mac meet the requirements for macOS Big Sur.

macOS Big Sur is compatible with the following computers.

If your Mac isn't compatible, you might be able to install an old version of macOS instead.

MacBook introduced in 2015 or later

MacBook Air introduced in 2013 or later

MacBook Pro introduced in late 2013 or later

Mac mini introduced in 2014 or later

iMac introduced in 2014 or later

iMac Pro

Mac Pro introduced in 2013 or later

Your mac must have at least 35.5GBs of free space before it will upgrade.

If you are getting the unable to verify error then it may be an indication that

the download of the Big Sur installer did not complete or has got corrupted .

Open you Applications folder and look for Install macOS Big Sur.app move it

to the Trash, empty the Trash.

Connect your mac to your router by cable.

Restart your mac, go back to the App Store Big Sur download page.

Do not use the mac while it is downloading and do not use any other devices that

share the same internet connection.
