Camera doesn’t work; black screen
My iPhone11 camera doesn’t work anymore since sometime last week.
If I open the camera app or any other app which uses the camera it’s just a black screen.
But there are circumstances where I can still use the front facing (“selfie”) cam: as a mirror for FaceID, if I select “selfie cam” by 3D touching the camera app (or however you call that) and funnily enough on Instagram. In these three specific circumstances I got the front camera working.
Things I tried so far:
- Turning the phone off (even forced restart)
- closing the camera app manually (the swiping up thingy to close apps)
- Resetting my smartphone settings
- resetting my smartphone with the iTunes rebooting(?) manager/help
Sadly my 1 year warranty isn’t active anymore (since two or three weeks)
Is there anything I can do to try and fix it?
