Editing RAW files in Photoshop Elements 2020

It appears that OS Catalina will not support the editing of 32 bit channel RAW files in Photoshop Elements 2020 Expert Mode? I am forced to use 8 bit channel. I assume this is a Mac OS issue? Does upgrading to OS Big Sur solve the problem? I wonder if the solution is to upgrade to PSE 2021? Any background info would be appreciated. Thank you.

Consult with Adobe on your specific issue, and if PE 2021 is actually needed. I would suspect that the internal RAW 32 bit per channel data issue has nothing to do with Catalina's 64-bit application and driver requirements.
