how do you create HD videos and share in YouTube with new update

With the new iMovie and IMAC update I can't figure out how to share my videos to YouTube in HD format. When I download the video from Youtube it only shows SD.

The last time I looked, You Tube supported HD uploads. Try exporting your project to your desktop in HD, and then sign in to You Tube and drag the movie into You Tube's upload window. Now see if you are getting HD when you download from You Tube. If you are not, then you might try posting your question on the You Tube help community forum. Here's the link:
