iPhone 7 Plus being replaced by iPhone 12 mini

I have got a new iPhone mini and set it up. It has automatically transferred everything onto the new phone off iCloud. I am selling the iPhone 7 Plus. So how do I close down the phone without losing photos. If I turn off iCloud photos will they remain on my new phone and on iCloud without being deleted? If not is there a way around this. Thanks

Yes, if you turn off iCloud photos on your old device the Photos will stay on iCloud and your new device.

What would have caused a problem would be if you left iCloud photos on, and then started deleting pictures.

But you don't need to do that at all either. You should follow this guide:

Good luck!
