Place you order button not working

I am trying to purchase an iphone 12 pro max using the apple cards monthly installments plan. I have sufficient credit line on my card to make the purchase. But, when I click the place your order button, there is no change. Nothing happens. Being a developer, I opened the console by going to the inspect options. It gives me the errors shown below. Support was not able to help me and pointed me to in person apple store, apple store was not able to help me. Apple store told me it might be an issue with the website and to wait till the issue gets sorted and to keep trying till then.

I manage to make the purchase using the Apple Store App. Thank you very much!


Here is how it worked for me, when I tried to pay using apple pay on the Apple Store App, it said my card details were incorrect (they were not as I had verified before) and asked me to re-enter the email, contact phone number and update the billing address. On the billing address it mentioned my name as too long.


After that the order was placed successfully.


Earlier, I was trying to place the order through the web (tried on mac, iphone and windows laptop) and had tried all options from chrome, safari, internet explorer and firefox. In none of the browsers, it worked.


Solution to this issue - Try on the Apple Store App and check if it asks to update the apple card details. Once updated, the order was placed successfully

Hi, have you chatted with the Goldman Sachs support team via the chat function in the Apple Card on your iPhone? Maybe there is hold or pending charge you’re not familiar with? Here’s a link to contact support, chat with an Apple Card specialist. (877) 255-5923


Have you tried the Apple Store App? I just tried it and it seems to work, but I didn’t complete the sale.

Thank you Jeff for responding. Yes, I got in touch with Goldman Sachs Team. They could not find any issues with my apple card, then moved me to a specialist who then asked me to check with apple support for services. Apple support for services asked me to check in store and I ended up back where I started.


I have not tried with the Apple Store App. Will try and update here.
