SIM Failure on iPhone 11

My iPhone 11 is not reading the ATT SIM Card. ATT replaced the SIM Card and still doesn't read. My iOS is latest. Not sure what can be done to address this issue. Please advice.

Can ATT provide you with an eSIM to load in?

It may be a hardware issue and you may need apples help

ATT tried to activate eSIM, but it requires that the SIM be active in the phone for them to activate the eSIM. That is what they told me, so I am not sure if there is a bypass to activate eSIM without having the actual SIM in the phone in an active state.
