Ram upgrade with Corsair Mac Memory

Hi!

I have iMac (Retina 5K, 27 inç, 2019) so I bought mac memory for ram upgrade (full name: CORSAIR Mac Memory 64GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 2666MHz C18 Memory Kit) But behind the box it says it's compatible for iMac 5K Display (Mid-2017) ve Mac mini (Late 2018). What does it mean, is it not compatible for my mac or it's just base criteria? Will this cause performance issues?

Thanks in advance

iMac 27″, macOS 11.0

OWC and Crucial have been the gold standards of Mac RAM for years.

I've been here 20 years and have lost count of the posts that reported issues with Kingston and Corsair RAM. The problem is the both of those offer two quality tiers. The top tier is usually Mac-friendly but RAM is so cost sensitive that resellers usually only stock the cheap stuff.

Therefore it is hard to find the better quality versions of either Corsair or Kingston, so I avoid them entirely.

OWC has partners outside the US: https://www.owcdigital.com/reseller/resellers
