How do I stop my MacBook Pro auto starting when the lid is opened and any key is pressed?

Macbook Pro starts if insert power cable Hi everybody. I have a MacBook Pro 2016 (touch bar) with MacOS Monterey 12.6.3. It is set to start automatically when I open the lid. If I shut down the mac and leave the lid opened, it restarts when I insert the power cable. Is it normal? This behaviour disappears if I disable the automatic start (with the terminal command sudo nvram AutoBoot=%00) If it is not a normal behaviour, I have already tried to reset SMC, PRAM e have reinstalled MACOS, but nothing is changed. dino

MacBook Air M2 2023 startup and shutdown If we are unable to STOP a MacBook Air 2023, my laptop, from starting up when I open the lid. Does it go into hibernation mode when I close the lid? AND if I shutdown does it actually power-off ???

Apple support has not posted any step to disable this feature.
