Will my airpod that fell down a small hole be attracted to a magnet to get it out?

I recently dropped my airpod into the seatbelt hole in my car and can’t reach it as my hand isn’t small enough. Will a magnet help get it out or any other way? I really don’t want to spend money on a singular airpod.

Hi i55yb3ll4,

Thanks for reaching out about your AirPod. We can help with this. It's possible that the AirPod will be able to be picked up by a long magnet if you can get them to touch. If the magnet’s too strong, it potentially could damage the AirPod. Using a magnet would be totally up to you. We recommend seeing if you can find a different way to retrieve your AirPod first.

Good luck!
