MacBook Air m1 hinge tight/resistant

Hi,

The hinge of by MacBook Air m1 is not opening with one hand. while opening the lid it opens to 1cm smoothly with one hand but after that I have to use two hand and same for closing I have to put pressure to close the lid till the left 1 cm after that it closes smoothly.

Should I be concerned? anyone facing the same issue?

My Case:

My screen's connection to my LogicBoard failed a bunch of times. So, I've been though this somewhat. So, I got this serviced, free of charge, being a faulty device.

Perhaps this is a Faulty Device?:

You have a one-year, out-of-the-box, limited-warranty with this. So, if still covered under warranty, contact Apple Support, seeing if free replacement is an option.

Note: Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. And that makes sense, because with the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)
