USB-C port not working

Hi there, I've a 2016 MacBook Pro that has been working fine. I recently upgraded from Mojave to Big Sur (keeping the same, old user). When I work, I plug a Satechi hub to use a plain USB-A Logitech mouse to the top right port. Recently, I've noticed how this port stops working after waking up or booting up. If I plug a mouse, a thumb drive nothing happens. The mouse gets no power. If I connect the charging cable, the Mac does charge.


What I did and helped was a SMC reset. The issue keeps coming back. Should I try a with new user?

Bypass the hub and connect directly to the Mac to test...


See if there is an update driver for your "Satechi hub " to be compatible with macOS Big Sur if that is your issue
