Is there a way to block social media apps?

I am wondering if I can block social media apps our our child's phone, but not other apps that are for ages 12+.

How can I block Tik Tok from my kids phones? I want to block my kids from downloading Tik Tok (and any other apps). I have parental controls set to disallow their use, but they are still able to use it. I see that I can allow specific apps. Actually, yes, you can. You can use ScreenTime and select the specific social apps you'd like to restrict.
