Paltalk

I am using a paltalk on a macbook pro that was given to me by the IT at work. When I join any video chat room, room memebers cameras wont load, it keeps showing " reconnecting" , same for the room audio. However, my camera works fine in the room.

The issue is the same on any wifi or hotspot connection, which makes me think that the issue is related to the machine's OS (big Sur). I have admin privileges on this computer. Could be a certain disabled service?

I tried reinstalling the app multiple times, I added it to the trusted apps in my firewall settings. still the issue remains
