How do I uninstall Ecosia on my iPad. Safari does not have “preferences” on my iPad.

Ecosia is a search engine.

Apple added it as a search engine option over a year ago.

Like any of the other search engine options such as Bing, Google, Duck Duck go it can't be removed as an option.

You are free not to use it.

You choose your search engine on iOS by doing this:

Choose a search engine

Go to Settings  > Safari > Search Engine.

Can you visit Settings > Safari > Search Engine?

If so, can you select another engine there?

Somebody had to select it. Just change it back to the search engine you would prefer to use.

You can't delete it from the list of search engines.

How did you install it?

I have DuckDuckGo selected and I’ve never seen ecosia pop up. Can you post a screenshot?

It just showed on my device as well. For some reason, I just check what search engine I was using and eco Siam was selected. I did not do this?
