New ipad pro max charging speed

Hi, I was just wondering how many Watts of power is the iPad pro able to utilize? This would help decide if I should upgrade the charger or not. Thank!

All recent models of iPad Pro support USB PD (Power Delivery) Fast Charging. When charged with compatible Power Adapter, the iPad will charge at its maximum supported rate of 18W (1.5A @12V / 2A @9V).

When charging with standard USB Power Adapters, the maximum charging rate is reduced to 12W (2.4A @5V).

Whilst you can (and in some cases should) might choose to use higher powered USB PD Power Adapter, the iPad itself will not charge any faster; the higher power capacity provides additional power for an active USB-C hub (the hub providing pass-through power to the iPad) and other devices connected to the hub/adapter.
