That depends on the country you are in. The original Apple Care (which is not the same as the one-year warranty) has been discontinued in most countries and has been replaced with Apple Care+. In countries where AppleCare+ is available, you can't purchase the older Apple Care. I honestly don't know if Apple Care is still available for purchase anywhere.
