I want to make an appoint at the apple store in Temeulca, Ca. I want to get help stting up mu 9 year old with her IPAD for school use.

Depending on the individual Apple Store, Apple, may or may not, have in-store product training sessions. In the past, they offered both "one-on-one" and group sessions. However, today they now include on-line training sessions as well. I provided you with a couple of links to see if they could be helpful.
