my apps download but are hidden

When I download a new app it is no longer showing up on my home screen but when I swipe left and search for it, it is there and works fine but why are they not appearing on my home screen?

disappearing alias for an app I downloaded an app, installed it and created an alias which I planned to keep on the doc. It goes onto the doc but when I am finished using the app, at some point it disappears! This keeps happening. How can I install it so it won't disappear?

iPad downloads For no apparent reason I can no longer open apps on my IPad I was using just two weeks ago. Things like Netflix, Pandora and New York Times won’t open. A message pops up that the download can’t complete and try again later. The only one that opens is Apple TV.

Check for it under the App Library. Next to the last page of the Home Screen. Organize the Home Screen and App Library on your iPhone ...
