Nike Run Club getting paused by Activity

While using Nike Run Club, Activity bumps in causing NRC to pause and stop recording. Usually around the mile markers, a little lime green spinning dot will pop up, instead of the nrc app causing the nrc app to pause until I get rid of the spinning green app. Totally ruining the nrc data collection until i notice and manually go back to nrc I have the watch on tight, and I have auto pause off how do I stop this from happening screen shot shows one of the screwed up nrc club runs

The same thing is happening to me too, with the same result in the map of the run. Very frustrating!

I’d interpreted the green dot differently - I thought the NRC app had paused GPS tracking (even though it was still recording the run) or, perhaps, lost signal.

The first time it happened, I had to resume the run myself (though again, the run itself had continued, but just GPS tracking had stopped).

On the next run (shown in the attached screenshot), both times it happened, I noticed the green dot, and then it almost immediately resumed tracking, without me having to interact with the app - as if just raising my wrist had ‘awoken’ the GPS function.
