Is the Phone 6 capable of accessing the new Yahoo family of e-mail software?

I need help accessing my pacbell (yahoo) e mail account on my iPhone 6. I lost the ability to access this account on my phone in mid June. What are my options?

Mail Access on Ipad 2 In May, 2022 I lost access to my Yahoo email account on my Ipad with the "unable to connect to the mail server" message. Running IOS 9.3.5 which is current for this model. Following previous recommendations, I deleted the mail account access to Yahoo but was unable to add back my Yahoo mail account. The system allows me to go through the add account process, Yahoo recognizes the connection, but the account does not get added to my system so I still cannot access email. What to do next?

Pac bell is not an Apple product, best you ask the app developer on their website/forum for support.
