After updating my 2020 iPad Pro 11‘‘ (wifi) to iPadOS 14.7 and watching video in Safari for about 10 minutes my iPad Screen short flickers pink and next reboots with the Apple logo. When watch one video this problem return again and again. With iPadOS 14.6 or below I never had this issue.
I already tried to hard reboot the iPad but can’t fix the problem.
Is anyone experiencing the same issue?

If you believe that the problem is software related (the symptoms suggest otherwise), whist you cannot routinely roll-back to a previous version of iPadOS, can install a fresh copy of iPadOS.
After ensuring that you have a current iCloud or iTunes backup of your data, you can restore to factory settings; the iPad is wiped - and iPadOS is completely reinstalled:

Otherwise, having your iPad tested and assessed at an Apple Store costs you nothing - and does not commit you to a costly repair if it not required.
As described, your iPad has a hardware fault that will require repair. You would be best advised to seek assistance from the technicians at the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store - where you will be able to demonstrate the problem. The iPad can be tested and assessed - and your options discussed.
The same problem here, i bought a ipad 8 th updated to 14.7.1 and in Safari watching a video the iPad reboots suddenly. Sometimes after a while sometime faster. exchanged the ipad, as it was just bought for another (also 8th), same problem. So i think it is a iOS issue with the 8th generation iPad. With the 7th generation iPad and iOS 14.7.1 i have no issues with the same test.
consult with apple remotely, they see no issues in the analysis and have made an appointment with one of the technicians in the area.
they also indicated that this is not yet a known message, presumably it will be, because I think it is an ios issue
The funny thing is, I never had this issue on iPadOS 14.6 or sooner. It occurs just after update on 14.7.
When watch the same video on an app the crash and reboot is not going to happen.
That let me think on an software not hardware failure.
I’ve updated my iPad Pro 12.9” 3rd Gen today from 14.6 to 14.7.1 and am getting the exact same issues. Never had an issue with the device rebooting before, updated this morning and experienced 3 crashes during video (one during a Teams call and two more watching Prime Video). Same green/pink flash and then a fast reboot with Apple logo.
My iPad Pro just gave me the almost-black screen. If I press the top button it goes totally black, and when I press the home button I get the login screen. Sometimes I can get all the way in and it shows a Safari icon with something on it, even tho Safari is not running. But usually after 30-50 seconds it reverts to the almost-black screen. If I do a hard reset, I get a flashing blue line on the top of my screen. If I leave it sit, then I can usually login. If I try again right after getting the almost-black screen, it goes back to that screen immediately after rebooting. Running 14.7.1.
I experience the same issue on my ipad pro11 after updating to 14.7.1 but cannot rollback to ipados 14.7
iPad Pro 11 m1, same thing after update, hope it’s an iOS bug.
Same with ipad pro 12.9 3rd gen , i did the update few hours ago and restarting on safari after 10 min again and again so apple do something with this update because is killing our devices!!!
