airport express and linksys

I purchased the linksys velop from apple. i am wondering if I can wirelessly connect my airport express to it to use it as an extender?

No.. Apple use a different system to Linksys.


You can Join the Express for the purpose of airplay or using express as wireless to ethernet bridge.. No wireless extending will happen in this mode.. also called client mode by apple.


If you need to extend wifi and the velop units are insufficient to cover the property.. buy more of the same one so they are matched correctly.
